Earthquake jolts Pakistan

April 3, 2007

Just a few moments ago, Lahore and I guess most of the northern Pakistan have been jolted with a very strong earthquake that lasted roughly for 10-15 secods. It has not yet been reported by any newspaper, channel or any other source of media. As I was getting ready for the office, beds, tables and tv trolly started to vibrate, I thought some construction work is going on nearby may be its cause of that, but when I came to office another colleagure reported the same.

This is the first instance of earthquake that is felt in Lahore since the devastating earthquake of October 8, 2005 that recorded loss of 100,000+ people.

Today is April 03, 2007, and CJP is set to appear before the Supreme Judicial Council of Pakistan. Opposition parties & lawyers are all set to protest against the so called reference.

Details regarding both Judicial & Natural earthquake are awaited.
